Guitar

The goal of Introductions of Guitar Methods is to provide students with a fundamental education on playing the 6-string acoustical guitar.  Students will learn basics such as: identification of guitar parts, note identification and production, chord identification and strumming, finger-picking, TAB identification and note production, concert etiquette, and overall confidence on a musical instrument.

The semester-long course features weekly playing exams and a performance final at either the Christmas or Spring Concerts hosted by the Tolton Catholic Music Department.

The course fulfills .5 credits of the Fine Art Requirement.
