Blazer Band Performs at Brentwood

On Friday, October 27th, 2016, the Blazer Band traveled to Brentwood High School in the suburbs of St. Louis to support the Trailblazer football team in the second round of the MSHSAA District Football Tournament.  Like last week, the band and cheerleaders created a great environment for the game.  Unfortunately the football team came up a little short on the field, but it was still a great showing for the Blazer Band.

Fall Concert 2016

Thursday October 27th, 2016, The Spirit of Tolton Singers performed their first annual Fall Choral Concert in the Fr. Tolton Catholic High School Commons.  The concert started off with a piano solo by Veronica Tarka of Chopin's Etude in Gb (Op. 10, No. 5) on piano.  Next, the Tolton Singers took the stage and sang Season of Love from Rent, Climb Every Mountain from the Sound of Music, River in Judea, and Praise His Holy.  Next, Veronica Tarka came back and played Candy Man on the piano.  After a wardrobe change, the Tolton Singers came back and performed their finale Footloose. We want to thank everyone who attended the concert, we had a great time performing for you.  Our next concert will be December 13th.

Band Uniforms Update

Thank you to everyone who submitted votes and suggestions on the initial concept artwork.  We received an overwhelming majority of votes for B so we will proceed with that overall design.  The new concept artwork above has incorporated some of the suggestions that were sent in.  Please take a look at this new version of uniform and let us know if you think anything should be changed.  Please submit your opinions to Mr. Hollon at dhollon@toltoncatholic.org

Band Uniforms Update

After about a month of designs, discussions and collaboration with Stanbury Uniforms and our supporters, we have arrived at a final design for our new uniforms.  Now that we have completed the first phase of this project we enter into the feasibility and securing of funds phase.  This will be a lengthy process and we will keep you updated on our progress.  With that being said, it is nice to finally have an image of what the uniforms will eventually look like.

Band Uniforms Update

The Blazer Band has started the process of designing and obtaining marching band uniforms for the near future.  We have contacted Stanbury Uniforms in Brookfield, MO to help us with this process.  The image above represents 3 designs that could potentially be our final design.  Please email Mr. Hollon at dhollon@toltoncatholic.org with your vote and/or any changes you think should be made.  This could potentially be a lengthy design process, but we would like as much input from our supporters and students as possible.
