State Band Large Ensemble Contest

The Blazer Concert Band participated in the State Large Ensemble Music Contest for the first time in the program's history on Friday March 24th at Mexico High School in Mexico, MO.  The band had an excellent performance and scored a III-Satisfactory Rating.  A great showing for the young band.

Today we were lucky enough to have Mr. Chuck Appleton from Palen Music Center come in and work with the band.  It was awesome to get a fresh look at the progress our band is making on their contest selections.  State Large Ensemble Contests for the Blazer Band take place on Friday at Mexico High School in Mexico, MO.  Our performance is at 3:50pm in the gym.
